Marina's English Border in June Glory

A typical back yard of a San Francisco residence is rectangular about 25 feet wide by 50 so feet deep. This turned out to be an interesting project. One I enjoyed and pleased the client.

Below is a before shot.

Central aisle of DG leading the eye to the large horizontal bed which will be planted with silver and gold plants.

Spring display with only Viburnum plicatum tomentosum 'Snowflake' is all so far this year.

Structure provided my Carex border, Yew, Box, Hollywood Juniper hedges, color from Phacelia, Leucanthemum, Salvia 'Mystic Spires Blue' and Cosmos.

Other notables include Pittosporum 'Golf Ball', Paulownia tomentosa "Empress Tree", Miscanthus sinensis 'Morning Light' and Acidanthera
