This swimming pool fits into the site so well. The cascades was constructed with great care that looking back at this photo, I think, this could be an alpine pond. It looks so refreshing and I wanted to go for a dip.
In a glacier valley on Vashua island is a 2 acre developed garden. On the slope down toward the house was planted variegated hellebores, hydrangeas and astilbe, the acidic soil makes the blue hydrangeas more intense.
We are in the land of Hydrangeas and Rhododendrons.
Hot color border with poppies and the water of Puget Sound in the background to refreshen the senses.
Poppies and clarkia meadows with bachelor buttons.
Fern table
Ajuga and lismachia and astrometia around a small terrace close to the house.
