
I love topiary gardens, I not sure why, maybe appreciating the pruning skills required. I think every garden should have at least one even if it’s just a ball or gumdrop. I find in my gardens the formal crisp shapes help set off the loose naturesque plantings I tend to create.
I also really like this pair of steel columns. I will want to make a couple with hog wire.
The Quartermaster’s house planted with all those water loving plants: Astilbe, Hydrangeas and Rhododendrons. Oh my! The setting on the water of the Puget Sound and the historical fishing dock on Dock street in Dockton feels good. And the neighbor’s truck fits right into the scene.
